The lesson allows students firstly to share their feelings and concerns about the lockdown time, the disease itself and missing school. This free 9 page audit grid has been created to go alongside the free EC Resources PSHE and RSE planning pack, to show additional coverage of SMSC and British Values. It was created by a school using the document as part of their work to attain the SMSC Quality Mark and is shared with kind permission. The word document version has been left editable, however, so anyone can also use it, filling it in with their own coverage against the different standards. **Fairtrade Fortnight 2024 ** A 1-hour, all new global Citizenship lesson suitable for KS2. In this lesson, the students will learn how the Fairtrade Foundation helps to prevent the exploitation and unfair treatment of farmworkers in developing countries. We will discuss the role of the Fairtrade price guarantee in helping farmworkers to avoid poverty, and we will discuss the positive impact of the Fairtrade Premium on communities in developing countries. The students will investigate the meaning of a ‘fair price’ when we look at the income distribution of a bar of chocolate sold in a developed country, such as the UK.
